All equipment is provided at an affordable cost and includes the Olympus handheld digital recorder. The Olympus digital recorder allows the same freedom of mobility that any handheld recorder provides but with digital technology. A PC downloadable recorder, the Olympus offers five hours of recording time with five folders for easy management. Docking station is included for fast and simple downloading to your PC. Drop the recorder into its docking station, and the included software will do the rest. All files are encrypted and routed to our secure server using a HIPAA-compliant file transfer program, where they are immediately available for transcription. Upon completion, they are returned to our secure server and then routed back to you. Documents are transcribed in the word processing program of your choice, either Corel WordPerfect or Microsoft Word.
We DO NOT subcontract outside the United States.
We are opposed to outsourcing transcription beyond America's borders. Our policy is that any transcription done for our clients must be done in the United States, so that the privacy and confidentiality of a patient's medical record can be protected by U.S. law. Therefore, we partner with U.S. transcriptionists only.
